Hi, I’m Maria — the makeup artist behind The Makeup Ambulance and, yes, I really am a paramedic makeup artist! It’s an unusual mash-up, but caring for people and helping them feel their best is at the heart of everything I do.
With over a decade of experience in makeup, I’m passionate about helping you look and feel like the very best version of yourself. I specialise in bridal makeup, creating beautiful, confidence-boosting looks that still feel completely like you—whether you prefer a natural finish or a full face of glam.
Your comfort is just as important to me as your finished look. I want every bride to feel as though she has a friend by her side—someone who brings warmth, laughter and calm to the morning while never compromising on time, care or attention to detail.
I’m also committed to making conscious choices. Most of professional kit is cruelty-free!
Most importantly, it’s my job to help you feel confident, comfortable and completely yourself on your special day.

Choosing your bridal makeup style is important & for some can be quite overwhelming. You want to look back at your wedding photographs & feel you looked your most beautiful self but still YOU.
Our team will make sure you spend your pre-wedding preparations stress free, relaxed, feeling pampered & confident that your make up will look beautiful & last all day.
It is important to us that your wedding morning is a relaxed, happy and joyful one.
